Lotus Cortina Mk2
Discussion
Hello All,
Not sure whether this would be better posted here or in the Ford Section?
Just before Xmas, my Father-in-Law sadly passed away. After years of sharing everything motorsport (Le Mans, Goodwood, Trackdays, etc) the family look to me to help sell his beloved Lotus Cortina Mk2.
I'm going to compile a PH advert and submit over the next few weeks, but wanted to know if there were better/more accepted methods of selling a Classic. I've always only ever sold modern cars and motorcycles. Also, don't really fancy going down the auction route...
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks
James

There are a few other very good classic car websites, which would probably attract more attention for this type of car (carandclassic being one).
Or you could speak to a couple of classic auction houses, as they may be able to get you a better price (minus their commission) for the car. Search Anglia car auctions and Classic Car Auctions for some results.
Sorry to hear your news and good luck with the sale (if only I could afford it, but I believe the prices for these have gone North of the last few years).
