Not sure whether this is against forum rules but I'm after a 2 Eleven.

I've seen the ones on the PH classifieds but I'm after an original car rather than one that has been re-painted.

Anyone got one they want to sell or know of any coming up for sale?

You could try putting a wanted ad over on seloc. Or have a look on autoscout 24 as you get some right hand drive ones coming up for sale now and again.

Good luck they are brilliant!

Thanks, I've now tracked down 2 of the 4 owners on SELOC and one other from Pistonheads.

Test drive booked for Friday driving

Slight concern whether it will get up the slight incline on my drive way though!

Amazing cars. More planted and precise than a Caterham, much safer too thanks to that sill that everyone moans about. No less exciting.

It makes no sense at all that you don't see many on track days. Ariel Atom is very cool but doesn't even come close to the cornering ability of the 211.

I'd love one too but they just won't depreciate!

WELCOME TO THE CLUB!

A WISE CHOICE IF I MAY SAY SO. clap

Get ready for some serious attention, it is not for the shy or retiring.

I would advise not following cars too closely if you want to avoid stone chips , it seems to attract them like mad or get some stone chip protection fitted. I have xpel ultimate and it has done a great job so far.

Enjoy!!

Thanks, can't wait to get it.

I've asked Lotus to paint protection film the whole front and rear arches as it's currently free of chips.

Also considering buying some adhesive sheets of neoprene to stick in the inside of the wheel arches to lessen the chances of stones putting stars in the fibreglass

Very nice, great colour (but I am biased). Which number is it?

Thank you, it was originally black with the yellow stripes but the first owner had it painted Ardent red to match his other Lotus'

Good question, I can't remember which number but have a funny feeling it's in the 50's

Don't mean to hijack your thread but I'm also a new owner, happy days, pictured on 220 mile run home at 4 degrees - toasty!!:

Very nice too. I haven't seen an orange one in the flesh, looks great in the photo.

Very nice, was that the one for sale in Hampshire recently, if so you beat me to it?

Yes, it was. After a steep learning curve at Oulton last Sat I'm looking forward to a summer of happy tracking.

Congratulations to you both. I admired the red Silverstone one last year. I was amazed it took so long to sell, since it looked immaculate to me. I believe the owner had an orange Evora S manual 2+0, which Lotus Silverstone also sold for him.

I spotted the orange one in the classifieds too. Looks stunning. cloud9

I think a lot of people were put off by the re-paint but I managed to track down all of the other owners and happy that it wasn't as a result of accident damage but purely to match his other cars.

Unfortunately I dithered and didn't buy the orange one but happy with the price I paid for the red car and it helps that it's only 12 miles from where I live.

I'm looking at solutions to stop stones from cracking the wheel arches as mine are currently perfect following a re-paint.

Has anyone stuck stuff like this on the underside of the arches?
