Excel-lent Advice needed

Those who have read my other postings will know I'm weighing up several new cars at the moment... Porsche 944, TVR 350i etc. But has been suggested I look at an excel, i believe an esprit would break my heart... and my balls the first time it broke down!

I had the cheek to knock on some poor guys door the other day when I came accross a blue excel sitting without a chassis. Turns out the guy just bought it and wasn't interested in selling, but suggested I look for a celebration model...

Where do i start to find one? what should I look out for?

BTW he offered me a TR7 for next to nothing, absolutely begging for a V8 conversion. not my cup of tea, but if anyone is interested let me know
