Lotus Carlton - Anybody Know It?

I am thinking of buying something a little different to go alongside my Cortina 1600e, and this caught my eye.

Don't know the car or dealer & have no records of the car being owned by an Autobahnstormers member in its past.

Do you know these cars & what to look for/check?

Agreed however as far as a professional inspection goes I'd be more inclined to see if there were any local LC/LO owners in the Autobahnstormers local to the car who could check out the essentials - I wouldn't think that many professional inspectors would have the nitty gritty knowledge to make sure the systems work as they should - that comes with club membership and or owning one of these cars for a long period of time.

When I bought my LC, MIke picked up every fault from the for sale photo's, (they are on this form somewhere) had it a year now and no faults other than those noted by Mike. I'd agree it will be dificult to find some one who knows the cars, I took the buyers guild with me and worked through it with a mechanic friend.
