Lotus convoy in Derbyshire - wow!!
Discussion
Hi Guys,
I guess I chanced upon a run out from the Lotus meet this weekend - went for an early blast on my motorbike Sunday morning, and coming out of Monyash initially passed a short convoy of Elises (is there a plural name for this?) coming the opposite way, thought was a few owners out for a blast, then couldn't beleive how many Lotii (Lotuses?) were out including Exiges, Europas, Eclat, a bright green 340R (I think) - there must have been about 60-70 I saw on the small B road then A515 before I turned off at Newhaven....
A great sight - and commendations to you all for getting a good early start and beating the grockles to the great roads of Derbyshire!!!

Yep it was MLOC's annual summer event and turned out to be another fantastic day from the run in the morning from Matlock Bath Railway station through to the cafe at Hassop and then onto Chatsworth House. We had 80ish on the run and 136 at Chatsworth with a fantastic mix of cars from the rare to the modern. If you have a Lotus and want to spend a great weekend with a lovely bunch of people this is an event you shouldn't miss. We're hoping for 200 cars next year so make sure you are there.
