2 Eleven v 340R
Discussion
I'm sure this will have been covered here before, but what are the relative benefits of a 2 Eleven v a 340R for road use please? I've had a couple of Atoms and only used them on the road having set them up appropriately and they were fine, if a little too ferocious at times, but now fancy a Lotus for similar B road use.
Also, can I fit in either car??? I'm 6 3 and can't get in an Elise!!
Many thanks

You must have the same defective gene as me, I had an Atom and now have a 2 eleven.
You won't have any difficulty getting in because of the absence of a roof, in fact being taller helps you get in. Road use is similar to the Atom (assuming you didn't have the windscreen) but ground clearance is much lower on the Lotus, or at least the front splitter hanging out the front makes speed humps more difficult. Can't speak for the 340R though except to say it is an amazing looking thing.

Think of the 340R as a stripped out road car and the 211 as a stripped out track car and you wont be far out.
Even though the 211 is heavier and down on power to the atom it generally scores faster laptimes - some of this is down to the brakes (which are frankly astounding) and some down to more aggressive aero however the suspension is setup very aggressively and on typical UK roads you'll bounce about a bit compared to the relatively softer 340R.
Also the supercharged 211 has a lot more torque available everywhere where as the highly stung lumpy rover in the 340R needs revs to use (so ironically can be a bit easier to drive on the road).
