I'll keep an ongoing thread as we build the Elan for racing. It's going pretty slowly though so don't expect common updates..

Removing body - yes it lifts off the chassis and still has interior, dash, steering wheel, seats, lights etc attached


Engine coming apart. The twin cam 1.6 will make around 180 bhp.


The body alongside the chassis. That's a Spyder chassis, and a 'normal' chassis has been purchased for the race car.
