Tow point on S2 Europa?
Discussion
I am contemplating the purchase of an S2. The car has been in a barn (sort of) in northwest Florida for the past 15 years. This area was hit with a hurricane 4 years ago and the barn fell down around the car. There was no damage to the car, however it would be much easier to pull the car from where it is sitting with a tractor, than it would be to attempt to push it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I intend to restore the car. I will post pictures of it's extraction and journey to it's new home if I can extract it from it'current resting plce without harming it

Hi,
AFAIK there aren't any specific tow points on the standard Europa chassis. It should be possible to thread a rope around the front lower wishbone suspension mountings, going around the rearmost arm and close to the chassis mount, looping across the front of the car and pulling from that.
I suppose it depends how long it's stood and if the brakes are seized on. Personally I'd take out the front pads & try to free the rear drums before pulling on it.
Incidentally there's a new Europa forum starting up, and most of the guys there are from your side of the pond. Call in and you might get some better advice from one of the S2 owners ?
