Tesla Roadster

Not that I am in a position to buy one. I was deep in thought of what they would be like to own.
The appeal of a country drive with the roof off and no engine noise would be interesting to experience. Then I thought about the wild life on our roads and thought it could be a bit dangerous.
The thought of using a car that cost pence to run would bring back the good old days of driving for the sake of it.

I saw one today in Nottingham, & there's even one in my village too.
They're not right.
Sadly, does remind you how important noise is as an integral element of a sportscar.
They're worse in Linby They're not right.

On a serious note, I've seen one recently leaving Newstead Abbey park - maybe the same one or perhaps we just have a glut of 'not rights' near us?
Interesting piece in this months EVO (the eCOTY one) where they take a Tesla up to a frozen lake in Norway to see how it fares in sub-zero temperatures which the naysayers will be the death knell for EVs.
Far from it - they still manage 170km on a full charge and in fact the biggest impact is how much time they spent going sideways and spinning the wheels, which really drains the battery. All in all they are impressed by the performance down at -18 degrees. Another busted EV myth.
