W12 M250? Mmmmm...

In my dreams, Lotus are about to announce that they've done a deal with Audi to put their W12 420bhp engine into the newly relaunched M250. If a car weighing nearly 2000Kg can get to 60 in 5.8 seconds, what would the M250 (weighing half as much) do?

Hi Andy, What is your source? Is this the M250 news that Lotus say that they are going to release this week? In time for the memorial OLC open day on Sunday 29th. Will the promise of more seductive futures act as an amnesia inducing substance and make M250 deposit holders forget the recent past? Do tell more

Ha! The vital bit of that is 'in my dreams' - I have no idea what Lotus are up to (despite ringing them regularly), but I suspect that the M250 is actually going to be based on the Hillman Imp engine.
