Anyone recognise this car ?

I snapped it in August 2008 in Newmarket, and just found it again in an old photo file. My first car was a Lotus 7 and many many years ago I briefly worked for Caterham when they were still on the hill...... Hence I have a bit of a soft spot for them... This one was wearing a Lotus badge... and a non year related plate.. It appeared to have been modified from its original set-up.

At first glance, it looks very much like a Robin Hood to me.

Try asking in the kit car forum - there are one or two people over there (One Eyed Mick, for a start) who are actually willing to admit that they own such an abortion, so they might be able to give you a positive identification.
