I doubt Proton would have extended Bahar's contract until the end of 2015 (it was due to end 2012) if he didn't have not only their confidence but also that of the major investors.

A good update on Lotus progress in this weeks Autocar, confirming the Esprit remains on track for launch at Geneva in 2013.

Watch out for the February edition of Evo, on sale in a week or two (unless you subscribe in which case its out now). They got the jump on the other magazines in a deal with Lotus that got them an early press car for a full test. Harry Metcalfe also spends time at Hethel with Dany and co and reports back all is looking very good. The 5 year plan remains on track and has delivered exactly what they said it would after 2 years.

The Exige V6 report by the way is glowing.....

As I did with the I-4 Exige I would be happy to buy a V-6 model in the USA. Just make it so that I can put a tag on it's tail.

Wow, investors want to get rid of a loss making division?? Big deal, although i'm slightly confused as to the remark that they 'want Bahar to go'? Where does it state that?
