Elite History/Info Source?

A good friend came round for a chat yesterday. During conversation, he told me his wife's father died last week and whilst sorting all his stuff out they discovered he owns an Elite.

The car is currently in the middle of restoration - as I understand it, it needs paint, reassembling and retrimming.

Neither of them are really in to cars, but clearly they have something of a reasonable value as c.£60k seems to be the going rate for a restored car - this one could potentially be worth more than that as they believe it has competed at Le Mans. I've told them to get the chassis number/registration etc (though father was a bit of a hoarder and so far they haven't managed to find the V5).

I wondered if anyone could recommend a person or site that may have more info on the car?

If you need any help with the restoration etc I know of a great company that have done some work for me in the past. They do have a lot of experience with Elite resto's.

All seems to have ground to a halt over Chistmas, but I'm hoping to have a look at it for them in the next week or so.
