Finally

After months of pratting around I've put my deposit on a nice shiny mark one 111s and hopefully pick her up on friday

However, am quite keen on purchasing (in the near future) a titanium hard top (yes wimp, I know) and like the sound of a removable steering wheel.

Any info on prices/where to buy very welcome!

Great news - welcome to the club of those in the know.
You could do worse than sign up to seloc and have a good look at their archives. (www.seloc.org)

Hard tops are £600+ and removable wheels in the region of £300 fitted (iirc).

Have fun.

And I quote "22,000 miles. Titanium with immaculate Black leather interior & black hood.

1 previous owner. Full Lotus Service History with receipts, always garaged, not tracked.

Full 111S spec - 143Bhp VVC Engine, enhanced leather seats, 111S alloys, Driving lights (with covers), carbon trim, 111S spoiler etc, plus Janspeed Sports exhaust, Sony CD, Cobra Cat 1 Alarm/Immobiliser, 4 Yokohama Advan tyres."

Price is not something I particularly want to broadcast but I'm perfectly happy with what I've paid. It's a fair price for a very good car

I collect her tonight!

Fantastic!

However, spent most of the weekend driving a 5 ltr Griff in Le Mans ....well, that's when I could prise walking hormone's hands off the steering wheel! (It was my first trip and I had an absolutely brilliant time - it sure won't be the last)

Seriously though, had plenty of top down experience in the last couple of weeks - superb fun!!
