Anyone from PH going to this?

I'll be camping from Friday and taking part in the Guinness Book Of Recirds longest Lotus parade too.

The English Whisky Distillary is few miles down the road too! biggrin

Big up to the Lotus organisers smile

I turned up to see the GT Cup and Lotus racing to watch a couple of friends in boths series and had to drag along my 2 girls at last minute, kicking and screaming, and they had a ball with the free dodgems, bouncey castles and watching the racing in the searing heat.

Had a job spending any money so thanks, and gave back to Air Ambulance instead and the seemed to need it more.!

Well done.

3.5hrs in an S1 Exige back to Leeds was a trifle warm (read borderline unbearable) but otherwise a great day out to indulge in all things Lotus. Well done to all involved.

Camping over was interesting. Peed with rain all Friday night creating a proper Glasto feel with mud and moats around our tents! Camp Elan held spirits high, aided with home made Vodka!

Saturday had some good racing and band entertainment in the evening.

Sunday was a scorcher with many more poeple at the event, although not enough to break the new World Record for the Lotus parade. Still proved a good excuse for a cheeky blip and feel for the lovely new track!

Fab weekend all in and great value!

More please!

It was a cracking weekend, even if I did get sunburnt and trenchfoot hehe

I've stuck some pic's of the racing up here:

- I'll try and put some of the record attempt up on here later smile

Hey, sweet pics there, well captured!

That guy in the Suzuki Swift was a legend!

Lost pole position to a poor start dropping to 12th and fought his way to win! He's 65 too.

May have to re-consider my ideal garage...

I think I recall your Elise. A friend has an Exige the same colour and it's pretty distinctive! New track seems good doesn't it? Love that Bomb Hole/Coram complex!
