not sure JCB yellow is the best colour...
It's Norfolk mustard yellow Or at least it should be...Agreed, it's not amazing-looking, but no SUV is. Looks very Urus-esque, especially in that colour, but if it's lighter on the scales and lighter on the wallet then could be good.
I'd like to like it more than my first impressions from these photos. Need to see it in the flesh an other colours. Also a bit disappointed its such a big one. Someone elsewhere mentioned an E Pace size would have been a better target and it would be for me though not sure that sells across borders.

This one is about the same footprint as a new shape Range Rover (give or take a few mm each way) but obviously lower in height. Rear steer should help with manoeuvrability in the car park but won't make a lot of difference down a Cornish lane. A smaller, more compact model based on the same platform is in the pipeline once this one is established in the marketplace.

Is anyone watching the launch in you tube. Full of fluff and time wasting at the moment
Yes, it was terrible. I learned more about the car from various videos on YouTube from Autotrader and various other motoring channels. I thought this was pretty good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zALnQW5Sb0Initially I was underwhelmed at the Urus-esque front end, but on closer inspection in the videos, the aero is really impressive. Apparently it is much lighter than the equivalent BMW iX so a modicum of the Lotus lightness philosophy is there. The interior is gorgeous.
I put in a reservation deposit when they first started taking them, but I think it will be too expensive for me. Might get the new Genesis GV60 then get the smaller Lotus SUV due out in a few years.

Thanks Cold. I have stuck a provisional deposit down a couple of weeks ago but would really only need a Q5/ Macan type family thing so maybe one to wait outA smaller, more compact model based on the same platform is in the pipeline once this one is established in the marketplace.
