Wiseman's Ferry run 17/04/11 - pic heavy
Discussion
Folks, another great day out. OK, so we didn't get curry and homebrew from heaven, but we did have a blinding day, and can't wait for the next.
Here we go:
Honorary PH member John brought his stunning 964 along. Beautiful, loud, quick, I'm likely to masturbate about this car tonight:
Custardtart was good enough to bring this beauty along. I can't tell you how pissed off everyone was with this thing hanging around like a wasp, steadfastly refusing to become a dot in the distance. Everyone agreed, there was something afoot... either No Birds have got some seriously modded sleeper 'Rollas or there some serious wheelmanship going on. More later.
Colonial's stunning new Golf R. Quick, refined, composed - I knew this car would be impressive, but really, it impressed, and big time.
TVP993's awesome and gorgeous 993. This left before I had a chance for another experience of it - I enjoyed it immensely on the last run, and TVP993's company was a bit missed. Next time hopefully.
Wisemans Ferry
Wisemans actual ferry:
A random stop that was supposed to sort out food plans but was more like a ciggie break and let theprogress barriersfellow road users including an old 'Healey 3000 get ahead,
The Golf R has an awesome feature whereby you can take photos from the wing mirror
This iPhone pic probably doesn't do justice to the awesome cornering ability of the nitrous, slick-shod Rentarolla:
This was unbelievable for a few reasons. 1. That we were going at a delicious clip, 2. That this 'Rolla would not ps off, and 3. there were some serious sparks coming off this guy's footpegs. Seriously, showers of sparks. Quite a highlight. iPhone apologies etc.
Great day, people. See you all soon.

Cheers all, great day as usual.
The blast out of the unscheduled stop towards Central Mangrove with John's 964 (and the bloody 'rolla) was a highlight.
But nothing can top playing with the bike up out of Hawkesbury River. That was good fun.
The Concord Hotel wasn't bad either.
I'll get some pics up soon.

Cheers guys, great day out and thanks to all for organising so all I had to do was turn up - perfect.
Apologese for ruining the group photos though
Great to see the porkers and the VW doing their stuff whilst Bob and I got a decent view of those pert bottoms!
Agreed, that biker was mental and is probably dead now

I had a great time guys. Apologise for having to leave half way through.
Great car Andrew. I'm looking forward to having a go at some point.
Matt - I have never seen a 1.3 (or whatever size engine it has) automatic move so fast. I am truly impressed by your driving skills. I hope Liz? didn't give you too much of an ear bashing that night. Lets just say that if I was the passenger I would have been nervous.
Great to see John and his 964. Lovely looking car and from what I saw he likes driving it too!
Stu I owe you a few beers. Let me know when you would like me to repay.
Was great to see everyone. Lets do it again soon.
