Automotive recruitment in Victoria

Hello chaps,
Finally and after a bit of a longer delay than I first thought, I will be heading off to Melbourne in May to validate my PM Visa. There was a bit of a date mix up as to when I had to make my first entry and this is going to be a lastminute.com affair. However,I will be there for 2 weeks from 17th May and planned to see as many people as possible within those two weeks, with a view to securing employment before I leave and then returning at the end of June or staying on and coming back to the UK at a later date, to tie up a few last things here.
I have already been in touch with a couple of people directly and will be having chats but I wanted to cover as many bases as possible whilst I am there. So, are any of you folks either in the business or know of any good automotive recruitment consultants that I can get in touch with prior to arrival? My experience is primarily BMW/Audi/Mercedes (in that order) but with a smattering of specialist sports too. My employment history is up too and including management/management support/dealer development.
I am pretty much open in terms of location and as I already have my TFN number/bank account/Australian drivers licence from my last stay, I will be hot to trott off the 'plane.
Any suggestions or advice welcome and there may be a very nice cold one or three in it for you too, when I get there!

Know nothing about automotive jobs but have seen some advertised in this weekly newsletter before.
