Not really motoring related but which suburbs are good/bad, any views are welcome

Mullaloo
Beldon
Padbury
Heathridge
Craigie
Kallaroo

Going on holiday next week to look at places to live and drive my crap hire car around and get a feel for the place.

Next week you say?! Check out the "what $5K car" thread...next Friday is err...Friday night drinks at Durty Nellies on Shafto Lane.

Can't really comment on the 'niceness' of those Suburbs as I would have only been there in passing but I noticed they are all North of River (NOR...get used to reading NOR or SOR!).

If I remember rightly you were looking to work possibly SOR?
I would strongly advise that you have a go at a commute by car during rush hour. Northbound is bad on Kwinana Fwy starting at Cockburn from about 6.30am and is locked pretty solid right in to the city (maybe even beyond). Northbound on Mitchell Fwy from the city is locked solid from about 4pm up to around the Whitford Ave exit. I have never been Southbound in the morning on Mitchell Fwy but in the evening Southbound Kwinana Fwy is solid from the city until past the Roe Hwy exit.

A big place with little imagination for suburb and street names....

There are Cheltenham's in at least 3 states for example, and just try counting the number of Flinders or Victoria Streets... smile
