Hopefully moving to Brissy in June/July, not bringing the car unfortunately :-(
June/July in Brisbane will feel like your summer back home, may even be hotter. Looks like 5 or so in brisbane so far.
Have the PH's ever done anything social (or anti social) in Brisbane yet???

Unfortunately you'll pay through the nose for a car here Yorkie.
Ok, so there's a few of us, what do we all drive.
I've got a couple of Triumphs, a stockish 7 FHC, & a 300+ BHP 8 DHC, a Ford Capri, [the local 2+2 convertible] for wet weather, & a Honda S2K to prove I don't hate all moderns, provided they drive the right wheels.
How will I recognize you on your Sunday drive?

Weekend car is a 135i beema convertible, everyday car just picked up the new FJ Cruiser from Toyota, voodoo blue. Got a ford RTV tray back tipper for around the yard work. Selling a merc ML430 on carslaes if anyone needs one of them. Also got a Citroën 3 wheeler based on the 2CV (lomax kit car conversion) bought it in from the states late last year not quite registered yet as it got stuck in a repair shop during the floods in January. Ok, so there's a few of us, what do we all drive.

You can spot me driving real easy, all my cars have UPS on the number plates. Ie 01UPS, 02UPS etc up to 06UPS. Even got a rigid pan tech with 03UPS on it. Check out a pic on my co website www.excellockers.com.au of the truck.
We might need to look at organising something for PH's in the SEQ corner of the world.
Cheers

Very tasty Burnedout. Should be fun.
My son in law had a Typhoon, I think it was called, a few years back. With a chip they blew the V8 into the bushes.
He loved it, my daughter did not.
He now drives an Astra, [silly boy], & a jet sky with almost as much power as the ute had.
Nice to see another old Triumph in the fold.
I'll keep a look out for a topless Beema on the weekends.
I'm in the Gold Coast hinterland, & we are in one the weekend drive areas. One of the groups I love are the topless yank boys. I despised those huge 50s & 60s land yachts in their day, but really love the glittering acres of chrome today.
I'm up for a Sunday run somewhere.

The Typhoons are a potent weapon, just called an F6 now, he would be stunned by the performance of the Astra. My son in law had a Typhoon, I think it was called, a few years back. With a chip they blew the V8 into the bushes.

Just had a Cruise from Ipswich to Queen Mary Falls, then on to Warrick and home last Sunday.Based on Australian Ford Forum. A top day out with some of the best weather in months.
The Yanks Tanks are great for Cruises in SE Q'land and you are in the heart of Cruise Country.
If you would like to see some more, head down to the "Ferry Road Diner" on Ferry road, Southport. Another place is "Harrys Diner" Haymarket Road on the north side of Brissie. Another place is "Munchins" on Beaudesart Road, Archerfield.
I'll get in touch for our next run to see if you are available. There are some terrific runs to go on as you know.
