Ultima for sale in VIC

That may or may not be the same one but I believe there is just one genuine 'Ultima Australia' Ultima kicking around. It was modified quite a lot to make use of local components so it had an LS1 in it and used various Holden suspension bits so things like HSV brakes and uprights could be used. I think they were going to be sold through HSV dealerships but it never got going.

There was also an Ultima running in a Targa event a good few years back.

There is also a business registered as Ultima Australia or something like it but no business is actualy operating. I read in the Ultima forum that the bloke that owns Ultima did spend a lot of time and money trying to get set up here but for whatever reason it fell through.

A couple of people in Aus are building right now, I know for a fact there is one in Perth.

That's a lot of money for an older car with none of the new options, no wing etc and a stock LS1.

You would be suprised how many are actually in Oz when you start looking into them. Mine should be here in the next month
