So, Sydney crew, do you think this is too much for the one day, bearing in mind that it will be a drive to Goulburn as well.
Thinking of doing it once the car arrives and it's run in. Some of the roads are a bit bumpy in places (Tarana-Lithgow in particular) so I can modify it a bit, maybe through Jenolan Caves instead.
Won't be for a while, but I've been doing some digging for some good roads around the place.

That should be a good run.
It's the type of thing we did in the Morgan Owners Club, back in the early 60s, when it was still legal for a group of up to a dozen to run in convoy, at up to 90 & 100 MPH on those roads.
Another really excellent run, from the same starting point is the Putty road. I did it recently, both ways in a 280 BHP 4.6L TR8.
It was late winter last year, & at 7.30 AM there were a few heart stopping moments, when I found frost still sitting in shady spots, but a great run. An hour later start would have been better, but I had to make Brisbane that afternoon.
Good road, little to almost no traffic, & great bends.

Looks like fun - do let us know how you go and what its like. My job takes me around lots of different parts of NSW/ACT but esp Newcastle-Sydney-Canberra and Blue Mountains, and I'm always looking for a trip off the motorway, even if its an out-and-back detour.
Got a job going at Lithgow at the mo, so might give that leg to Tarana a go next time.
