There was one for sale for quite a while.

Appears to have been sold now.

Any of these look familiar? http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/showthread.php?252...

If you google search for 'Clio v6 Australia' there are quite a few hits for sightings.

I remember there was a Blue one for sale for a LONG time. If I remember rightly it appeared in one of the classic car magazines with a note at the end that it was for sale for $100K. I kept seeing the same car for sale on various websites and the last time I saw it the price was down to around $70K.

Yeah alot of people don't realise how cheap the UK is to buy cars at the moment. I recently heard the UK is now the cheapest country in the world to buy a new Ferrari or Porsche. It was only a few years ago a friend had a very successful business importing Porsches to the UK with massive savings on hand. I guess the bottom dropped out of that one? wink

The price of fuel argument fails with places like aus/north america too, as in the uk, everyone drives a diesel golf and all our distances are MUCH smaller, i've lived in aus and canada, and even distances in cities are much shorter in the uk.

The rest of europe has comparible priced petrol diesel when compared to the uk.

So really, we just bh and moan too much.

No way is the UK cheaper than the U.S for a Porsche let alone the Middle East etc.
