Lotus Elise S1 in Australia

There don't seem to be many places selling old Elise S1s, the ones that are on sale are all around £20 000! I was wondering about taking my own over there and then selling or buying then selling again over there. I come back in a year.

Any suggestions?

If you can bring it over then do it, like you said cheapest over here is around $35,000. Hell I'll buy it off you for $30k how's that guaranteed sale.

There are a number of threads in the Australia forum covering it but if you buy a car and own it for more than 12 months you will be able to import it as a personal import.

It is almost universally agreed on this forum that if you have anything 'decent' it is worth bringing from the UK (if you can).

In fact buy yourself a series 1 exige for a year and i'll gladly take that off your hands when you come back in a years time I'm such a nice person aren't I
