Targa West 2010...PH Perth day out?
Discussion
Targa West is on the 26th-29th August with lots of spectator sections. I'm thinking we should get a PH Perth meet up happening to go and see some properly fast cars being driven flatout on the open road.

Northbridge show and shine? Zig Zag stage? Perth CBD super special stage?

Last year Sallie and I had a look around the Kalamunda stages as it is a 2 minute walk from home... might do the same this year on the Friday.
I hear that my mate (well my mate John's son) Peter Major is running a new GTR this year, Pete was running fourth IIRC in a very ordinary Evo 6 last year until he had some dramas, he ended up 7th so should go well this year

Keeping an eye on the live results, Peter Major is as I expected leading, and increasing his advantage steadliy over Jim Richards

I'll probably head into Perth tomorrow lunchtime to catch the final 3 stages in town and hopefully celebrate with the Majors...
O/T Peter is running the National Formula Ford championship series next year, don't be surprised to see him in a V8 soon also

It is a shame Steve smashed the sump into the oil pickup and lost a engine on the first stage after a hard landing over a jump at whiteman park. It would have been nice to see the two cars with two very good steerers at the wheel go head to head, But that is rallying I guess
