Best Money Transfer site?

We are with the commonwealth/communist bank over here and we need to send some cash back to the UK, the exchange rate is somewhat poor with the bank in comparison to some of the internet money transfer sites - just wondered if anyone had used them recently and any recommendations?

When I moved to NZ I used World First for my currency transfer, www.worldfirst.com.au and found them to be very good. All depends on the amount of $$$ to transfer to get a good rate and I'm sure there are other companies but probably not much in it. I think they offer better rates than the banks

We did all our stuff with HiFX...

Very happy with the service.

You get assigned a broker, you phone him up, he tells you what your £10/£10k is worth in AU$$IE, you agree (or recently, laugh in his face... - well he was chuckling too...), and he sorts the money from your assigned UK account into your Aussie account.

Easy as, as the locals seem to say...

Guys,

I've been using http://www.ukforex.co.uk for transfers between Oz and UK and vice versa with no worries and great rates.

we've been somewhat suprised that it has been hard to get credit even though we are company sponsored...

I have used http://www.mycurrencytransfer.com to find me a currency broker send money to australia. They are basically like a search engine on FX and may be worth having a look to compare foriegn exchange companies.
