He has but it seems he's defected to another forum and hasn't supplied his new mates with any photos that I am aware of at this point.

Sounds nice though!

Shhh!!! It could be very damaging if it got out that I was driving...you know...one of those cars!

I keep promising pictures but since I picked it up I have been emptying the gearbox oil on to the garage floor servicing it. I did detail it (whats happened to me?!) with the aim of taking pictures but then I went for a drive and my beard got messed up so it just was not going to happen.

Only if I drop the roof, drive really quickly and then take my seatbelt off and stick my head above the windscreen to see what happens....not that I ever tried to do that whistle

Gone! It was up for sale for ages with no interest at all then one Thursday afternoon some bloke calls and seems really keen, comes to see it on friday and after a drive around the block and a kick of the tyres agrees to buy it. He had got all his finance in place so he picked it up on the Saturday.

Didnt know it was up for sale. How come?

The 2 cars i've sold in Perth both involved a 2 minutes drive by the buyer, followed by a cursory glance over it, open the bonnet and stare then proceed to buy. It was strange like people here dont check cars out or seem to want to. weird.

I was using it for trackdays and very quickly found that it was not enough for me, it was fun at first but I very quickly found the limits of the car which just made it frustrating and I realised that I was never going to be happy unless I had a proper race car. To turn a WRX in to the lightweight, nimble, challenging drive I want would have taken cubic $$$$.

This is half way to being a race car so I will use it daily for a few months and then pull it off the road.

I think I would have another WRX for a daily drive....though yesterday I went in an FPV Falcon with 450BHP at the wheels and 800NM torque which completely changed my perception of having a 'grunty' daily drive!!

Well, the car was only worth $1k hehe, but she's still going driving so my staring at the engine was all I needed with my xray eyes and super powers getmecoat

Just trim the beard and a bit off the top thank

that actually looks really good and very similar to what I'm after for a track toy

Actually really like that - colour, interior trim, wheels and roll bar.

Like a vision of lovliness in a sea of white Toyota Corollas.

Top work fella.

Thanks guys; I feel all special now bowtie

It does have tan leather seats to but they get flipping warm so I chucked those seatcovers on. The seats will get replaced eventually as will the door cards to gain a couple of precious inches...then the carpets will come out and the rollcage will get extended forward and then I will be on the start line at Wanneroo and Tim the pool man will be all misty eyed about it and cheer me on rofl

There are more pictures on my stalkbook...look for James Pritchard in Perth if you want to see them.

So when are we going for a coastal cruise?!
