Is it allowed to bring a Left Hand drive & then convert on arrival?
If so anyone know of who could do it in the Brisbane upto Noosa area that has experience of converting a Ford F150 Harley?
Tried the mob in Melbourne who only do Mustangs but they didn't suggest anyone that does.
Otherwise can anyone suggest any available alternative motors out there in Oz.
Preferably V8 power with a bit of character.
Not interested in paying 90k though for an F150 when I get there.

Can't help sorry but I would suggest if your criteria is a big characterful V8 truck/ute, you're going to be spoilt for choice here. Use your 1 car import allowance for something special, unavailable here and/or with profit potential

...oh except I think you have to have owned it for 12 months. Refer to the importing thread.

I assume your looking for some sort of ute in which case there are dozens of options. Everything from taxi spec work horse through to leather lined 'super utes' as well as the option for all the custom hot rod style utes with the polished flat wood tray on the back and a set of fat mickey thompson drag radials on the rear.

If you want off road ability then again your spoiled for choice... www.carsales.com.au is your friend.
