boat hire/ lease.. what price to pay.??

i'm based up in brisbane and i was gonna buy a boat, but thought that I might not use it too much, so rather throw a load of money into a boat, i thought i'd get an advert out to see if someone wants to earn some cash whilst not using there boat.

so, i've had someone come back to me with the ideal boat 18.5ft 140hp engine on a trailer, it's about a year old and cost him $65,000 new.

does anyone have any idea of what i should offer him to use it? i've said i'm happy to either take it on a day to day basis, or to keep hold of it for 3/6 months..

it's not something i've done before, so thought that i'd ask the question on what you'd think is a reasonable amount to pay.

I will be paying for full insurance on the boat myself.
