Just wondering if anyone is running any PH merchandise on their vehicles? I'd never seen the 'shop' section before, and seeing as we are very much a minority over here perhaps a PH sticker would be nice to identify fellow fellows. On the flip side of that since we are so few and far between, it's most likely wasted on everyone except for those that meet from time to time and already know who each other are.

Also I'm desperate for something that shows I'm not your average Joe Camry and do in fact have a pulse. Again, conversely perhaps this is a reason not to do it. Far too wannabee perhaps...

We did do a bit of a buy up a year or so back, Colonial organised it and it led to the first PH Perth meet. I was running a couple of stickers on my old car but pulled them off when I traded it so lost them.

I fancy getting a few stickers for the car again and I also thought I would get a white smiley to go on the back of my black helmet.

You shouldn't do this as it can compromise the integrity of the helmet themselves (actually it mentions this in the FAQs as well).

Unless you mean something else.....?!?! whistle

So you did a group buy - any interest in another, people? Does it evenmake sense to do a group buy - surely the shipping costs etc mean you'd be saving next to nothing?

Yeah, I did the last. Was thinking about doing another as I lost the one I had (and I only have my Evo magazine sticker and FMD Motorsport on the back now).

Happy to sit back for this one, or organise again.

Hmm yeah I remember something about stickers now...it was on the sticker that was on the helmet when it was new hehe

Probably something to do with the adhesive ripping pubes ou.... eating in to the plastic. Considering the number of people doing trackdays I would have thought PH could do a good line in helmet proof stickers.

I'm not sure that we saved a huge amount (other than no VAT) but it made sense to just do one order and price everyones merch inclusive of the internal aus post....for the Perth mob it was all posted to my house and then that made a good excuse for everyone to gather and collect it.

I still wouldnt mind a few stickers and a couple of t-shirts.

Oh as for Camrytastic motoring, I had an urge to buy a Vectra. The last of the line that were sold here were $50K+ motors with all the bells and whistles including leather and the 3.2 V6. They are now worth $13-$18K with really low KMS on them.

I'd be up for putting a black pie and piston on the back of the Skyline.
Some of the T-shirts in the shop look ok as well.

We should get an order sorted and have a meet up near Christmas.

V8 supercars this month if anyone is going. I'll be there on the Saturday.

Oh and Deviant - A Vectra? Seriously?

Hahaha yep a Vectra! They seem to be proper luxo spec for the price. Truly though I am losing interest in road driving and I'm not sure the WRX is going to do what I want it to on track without taking cubic dollars and without the worry its going to get bent or blow up leaving me without a car. Seems a bit more sensible to have a cheap barge for the daily and get a dedicated trackday car.

I think this is a fantastic idea Let's get a whole load of merchandise and meet up somewhere to distribute. The line up including a Camry, a Vectra, a Magna and whatever other heart-wrenching vehicles of desire we may have acquired...

Jokes apart I really would be ashamed to meet any of you in my quad-cam V6 beasty.

I'd love a track day car but as I've been here 3 years and not done a single track day, I really couldn't justify it. One day I intend to build a Westfield in the garage.

Only kidding about the Vectra - ideal barge for these roads - although I'd be more tempted to go for a well looked after XR6.

Deffo interested in a Christmas meet-up. Be it a beer in the Swan valley or a trip to the karting track.
Although given our track record at organising meets, maybe we should be aiming for Christmas 2010!!!

Any volunteers to get the ball rolling?
