Hi all,

It's been 5 long years since I last lived in Sydney but just got a firm job offer through and as soon as the visa arrives (!)will be happily returning.

Now married and planning on staying a proper while which means at some point bringing my MG over so any advice/tips/phone numbers etc will be gratefully received.

We know a couple of people in Sydney already but keen to expand on that so if there's a regular PH meet up/drive please let me know!

Would also be keen to do a few track days although my Westfield is sadly staying in the UK. I've driven at the track near Goulburn but hoping to do a few other tracks. Are there any web sites that publish the track days?

Oh and finally, I'll need to get a ute, Ford or Holden? biggrin

Nice work... Lots of us have imported cars, I put something together when I shipped mine over, lots of advice have a read through this one as it should help... plenty of advice on here though but remember, when you ship the car, everyone wants cash from you!!

Good Luck.

Bring both cars over, do one under your name and one under the wifes name. You will really regret not bringing the Westfield over...to build a basic one will set you back in the region of $30-$35K on the road here.

Thanks, lots of useful stuff there and much appreciated. Surprising how the costs mount up but looking like relocation costs will include a container so may be possible to bring the MG although the Westy is defo staying put.

Anyone know of any track days?
