Mechanic recommendation in Melbourne

Dear All,
Can anyone recommend a good independant garage/mechanic in the Melbourne area? I'm looking to buy on a private sale and would normally get someone to put it up on the ramp prior to purchase.

What sort of car? Can suggest some good Audi and BMW mechanics but that's about it

That would be really helpful, I'm happy driving subauru and lexus, but the missus won't drive anything other than Audi.

Also, Volkspower in Burwood and Audispares in Oakleigh

But audvolks comes the most highly rated.

my brother gets his b6 a4 1.8t qwatro serviced there. he has been happy so far, hes only had it a month or two.
