Hi guys

I am thinking of ideas for a Track Day Car that I can also use as a car to drive the 20km's a day to and from work.

The odvious choice is a Elise / Exige, but there are few available and the prices compared to the UK are outragerous.

Anyone got any other suggestions. i currently have an 08 XR5 Turbo

Cheers Sean

I'd be inclined to go the 2 car route and get *sigh* an MX5 or a track prepped BMW e30 plus a daily.

Welcome to Oz Sean! Unfortunately there is no way round this apart from get your head to just go with the fact it costs more. Pain agreed but its hard to get round it.

If it was me i'd do the Elise if you can afford and enjoy looking different everyday.

That or get an S2000 and supercharge the mutherfker.

A PRB wide body with the F20C ( from S2000 ) goes like st off a teflon shovel up to 7K rpm and then goes stupid to the 9.5K redline.

A lot of car but not all that cheap, but then ya get's what ya pays for.
