How to sell quality car parts - Ebay?
Discussion
Hi
I've had success selling bits and pieces on Ebay in UK. I'm staying in Sydney and my mate wants to sell some BMW wheels and Porsche seats
that are left over from previous projects. Do Australian petrolheads scan Ebay for bits? Does anyone look at the parts on this website?
Any advice much appreciated!

Thanks COLONIAL. Why shouldn't I expect to get much? Is it because the market is small compared to the UK? Or maybe Aussie and Jap parts command more interest?
I can understand that there aren't thousands of young blokes with deep pockets looking for second hand Porsche and BMW parts - I suspect that the people who can afford Euro sports cars don't spend much time looking for bargain parts...

There are plenty of things like BMW wheels on ebay is the only thing. Heaps of people selling stock ones so not a massive market. Should get a couple of hundred depending on what they are though.
BMW parts are a decent seller on ebay though - I sold the stock speakers out of my old e36 for $25, and a Haynes Manual in very, very used condition for $30 so it is doable.
