Well I think its time we have ourselves another curry night!

Now I was thinking of organising something a bit different this time and having it at my house.

Option 1:

The great PH Curry cook off!!!!

Everyone that is coming makes a curry of their own choosing or secret recipe. These are then placed anonymously on the table and we all dig in and pig out on them.

At the end we cast a vote on the best curry and a prize is given to the winner.

Option 2:

Last night I tried an Indian takeaway near my house and I was rather suprised to find it was pretty darn tasty and priced even better. Looking at their menu they can do big catering or bulk takeaway orders... www.curry2go.com.au so if nobody feels like cooking we can just do a big order from these guys.

The warm evenings are fading fast so bring a jumper!!

The forecast has not changed yet. Anyway my patio is reasonably well sheltered and being poms we should all be used to sitting outside in the cold with a beer, determined to enjoy the balmy weather biggrin

Prefer option 2 as less effort but if T wants to cook, I won't hold him back. yum

Also re option 1 - it will be quite difficult to remain "anonymous" if there's only 5 of us! hahahaha.laugh
And you can't ring me. I am online on dialup and very busy and important. biglaugh

Tim, Why have all your posts in the "Nigella Lawson in an MX5 up the Oxo tower" thread suddenly been deleted?

How about Good Friday (10th April)? I would imagine the take away will be shut then though.

hehe I needn't worry, I think S knows that Nigella really isn't "my type"

Classic moment hehehehehehe

We're up for either option, flexible on dates, but can't do this weekend, would prefer 11th or 18th April.

2 people down for the 18th so far. As far as I know that weekend is free for me to.

Thats in about 4 weeks so who wants to go for a pre-curry cook off curry?

ETA: Cant do the 18th...Blues and Roots festival is on in Freo.

Easter weekend should be okay I think....better ask boxedin

I think T would definitely prefer Nigella's cooking skills! (if not her body shape! laugh)

God, can someone show me how to do this damn quoting thing???

Also, I like to eat fish on Good Friday as I am very religious and pious. T knows that.
