SPOTTED THREAD
Discussion
Fezza 360 spyder spotted 19/03/09 approx 16.30 just joining the northbound side of Kwinana Freeway in Rockingham.
Southbound was an Audi A6 3.2....unbelievable that fairly ordinary German sedans make it in to a spotto thread but its not often you see them and they are a hideous amount of money.
There is a gunmetal coloured RS4 in Rockingham to.
A couple of weekends back I spotted (I assume) the same 360 on the Rockingham foreshore as well as a DB9 cabriolet.
There is also a white Cobra replica that gets around Rockingham with big fat exhaust pipes that gargle and pop.
Head in to the city and St Georges terrace is good for spotting base model, automatic Porches and BMW's

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, black, spotted this morning on Kwinana Freeway - number plate 'HAPPY 2'
Nicely modded with multi spoke alloys, lightly smoked front and rear lights and slightly lowered i think. Sounds awful but actually made it look great. Tastefully done I think.
Young guy driving it so life oks for some!

I believe the Stratos is a Hawk replica. The sky Blue Gayeeeardo is always in Freo...generally he cruises along the main street 2 or 3 times on a Saturday night, last time I was there he was spotted leaving the area at a decent rate of knots!!
A bit of an odd spotto on Kwinana Fwy, southbound around 14:15 today....BMW 750Li. Hows that for some rare luxo bargery! You rarely see a 7 series at all let alone a 750...let alone the long wheelbase spec!
Wonder what it is about Kwinana Fwy and spotto's?!?

Last time I spotted mine it was in quarantine in Sydney. I do miss her a bit . Grrrrr. That'll be mine then !!
Does anyone have a Tuscan count for Aus. I heard 22 but would be good to verify it.

On sunday, went for a drive and came across 10 plus Ferrari's heading down Tooday Road in Midland. All types, but the main spot was a lovely yellow, Renault Spider, with no windscreen, as it should be.
Now, I've never seen one on the road in the UK, let alone here. So I now claim to have seen one of the rarest car on Perths roads......

I dont think I will ever understand the mentality of super / rare car owners.
They seem to keep them permanently locked up and only drive them on very rare occasions and even then only very gently. Why is that then? Those little Renault's were built as track tools and have an engine from a Clio so why not get the thing out and get up it?!
I'm guessing most of them have worked 400 hours a week to JUST scrape enough money to own them so they are terrified of mileage depreciating the car beyond their carefully calculated budget or they are scared of the next service bill so dont want to risk braking it or actually putting enough mileage on it to tget it serviced.
Believe it or not but there does seem to be a lot of proper cars around Perth...they just stay locked up.

Spent many happy hours following on of these in the UK. Very nice tool and exceptional road holding. Seen 3 on the road in the UK, but all to UK spec with the small screen. Now, I've never seen one on the road in the UK, let alone here. Hopefully my weekend car will be seen regularly around the Hunter region from the middle of July Poor thing did 10k km in 2 years which I doubled in 6 months in a UK winter. I will try to be getting through a set of tyres a year
