Perth PH meet 3, take 2. Christmas BBQ?

Hi guys. Thought I would try and get a meet going again :P

The weather is getting warmer, the days are longer and its approaching holiday season so who is up for a BBQ in the coming weeks?

Perhaps a cruise to a beach with BBQ area is in order?

For food I would suggest BYO meat and drinks and something for the table for all....salad, bread rolls, cake etc?

For extra hilarity we could also run a secret santa?

Sounds good to me having missed the last Perth meet ups.
I reckon people will need a date to work to though as the weekends before Christmas will slowly be filling up.

Tim is back!

I'm easy as to exactly when.

What dates are people going to be off work? I believe I finish the 19th December and return 5th January so maybe a weekday meet?

I can imagine Tim gets somewhat snowed under with people realising that black bog in their backyard would be nice as a pool now the weather is hot and I should imagine others would be off on holidays etc.

my Christmas holidays are:

Wednesday 24 December 2008 until
Sunday 4th January 2009.

So this would mean the following avalible dates for get together.

Saturday 27th
Sunday 28th
Monday 29th
Tuesday 30th
Friday 2nd
Saturday 3rd
Sunday 4th

I'm sure Tim could tabulate this better.

Missed that bit....no its still in the fridge. Goes out of date on the 18th December however I forgot mine was in the fridge still and despite being open it hasnt turned in to chunky spreading yoghurt yet.

Yeah I'm going to get busy between now and Christmas (that's if the weather ever improves, a slow start to the season so far...)

Holidays??!! forgotten what they are! I can be fairly flexible being self employed so I'll try to do whatever date is agreed on.

time is marching on, and christmas is nearly upon us. Well, not me, Bar Humbug, but my daughter finished school on friday for her christmas holidays....

I can definately confirm my work is shutting down for the 19th - 5th.

I think Sunday 20th is out for me. I'm told we are supposed to be going to some family thing.

Ok here is 2 choices:

Beach BBQ or Pub?

Beach BBQ would be my preference over the boozer but I'm easy.
My wife flies is in the UK from the 12th until the 23rd so a week day between Christmas and New Year would suit me best as I'll be looking after the kids on my own while she's away.
