The few that met in Freo last night had a good time, let's start arranging the next meet and try to get a bigger turnout?

Any suggestions as to what where and when?

The most popular suggestions so far seem to be for either karting or a Swan Valley drive/wineries/lunch/clotted cream hunt.

I hope we do both (and others) at some stage so it's a matter of which one next.

To fill in the table just quote it and copy the line above, then change the details to yours. (watch the spaces, they make it work)

PH name Names Preferred event Dates
Tim the pool man Tim Swan valley Any Sundays except Bathurst and Indy wink

ETA If you are in Perth and can't go to this, but want to be added to a "mailing list" for Perth PH events, add your details anyway. I'll go through the member list when I get a chance and contact anyone in Perth who hasn't responded.

Whilst I write, we are getting ready to have a drive down the road to a winery for a spot of clotted cream (hopefully) so will let you know how it goes.

Clotted cream update.

Tried one place, first impressions really good, scones were enormous, very nice strawberry jam, and a massive pot of cream.

Unfortunatley, it appears to have been cream from a can. So that's a none starter.furious

Had a tour of some other places, but were too full to try for another cream tea. But fingers crossed we have found a lovely small winery, nice setting and low key, so we will try that one next. ALthough this weekend is out, as it's swan valley drinking competition, held once a year, and apparently attracts loads of people, who go to each winery and sample loads of wines, end result, extremely pissed, then they appear to stumble into the main road, or even drive home.!!!

Anyway, I'll keep trying to find the right one.

BBQ at deviants this weekend sounds good to me.

Yep this coming weekend is 'Spring in the valley' which means hundreds of tour buses and the like drivng a circuit round the wineries.

Kym's work always puts a bus on but we have never bothered going...one of our friends went a couple of years back and found that it was hot as hell, all the wineries were so crowded they didnt get to taste anything, the 'lunch' was a sausage and then the bus drove off without them and they had to spend a couple of hudred on getting a taxi back to the city!!

I told you the devonshire teas are sheeeite tongue out

Party in the new house before it gets filled with furniture and things that can be ruined by beer puke and grog bog.

Looking at the weather its going to be between 19-21 with the odd shower and clearing on Sunday. My outdoor area is well sheltered and if it really hammers down we can head indoors. 19-21 should be about warm enough to get a barby going....let me know if anyone is interested.

How could one refuse such a kind offer of hospitality... not sure Mrs V wants to sit through such a major PH event.
Don't get me wrong, she's into the car thing big time but not quite to the PH degree!
I'll figger that out nearer the time.

We can bring booze and meat (and even a small tub of coleslaw or something for dietary balance).

Whereabouts are you Andrew?

It all sounds great. However,my wife already has it planned for me to start painting the damn thing withing 1.34 seconds of getting the keys to the new place. Hence no time to party in the new place.

But any november meets are good for me.

I'm building in Aubin Grove near Jandakot Vanya. Where are you located?

Bring your own booze and meat. We will do the salad, desert and soft drink.

If people dont feel like driving they can get a train to Warnbro or Rockingham station and I will fetch you 4 at a time....cant promise I will be able to drive you all back though drink but there is a bus stop a mere 20 seconds walk from me

Who's interested? And what time does the race start?
