Who owns the Caterham CSR in East Sydney Suburbs?

Rumour has it that some lucky soul has brought in a reportedly Silver CSR in the past 12 months. Second rumour from someone who spotted this car is it has a Wales decal on the back, and was spotted in the Eastern Suburbs.

If you're on PH, send me a PM and I'll connect you to the other Caterham owners in the Sydney area. We have several R500's, an SLR, several late 90's 1.6K/1.8Ks and my SV-VHPD.

there are 2 JPE's I believe in Oz, one in Sydney and one I have heard of in Melbourne-area. The one in Sydney I've just learned of a few months ago, but heard second-hand from one of the Melbourne www.oz-clubbies.com guys

they sound the business if they have been kept 100% the same as original as delivered in the UK

I've been on here for a while now but tend to post infrequently, needs to be something of interest or Oz Vs the poms at pretty much anything.

The car in Sydney JPE 7 changed hands for the cost of a fairly expensive raffle ticket, the previous owner got what he wanted for the car, the new owner got it for far less than a bottle of Grange and Cystic Fibrosis got quite a good donation.

I'd call that a win all round.

I wasn't aware of another in Melbourne though, this one was originally brought in by the dealer in Melbourne for the Melbourne International Motor Show and subsequently sold and repainted.

The previous owner was the second since import and believed it to be the only one in Oz.

Should add, Don Collyers blue race Cat was being fettled at Redback this morning.
