Melbourne: Any places I can do skid-pan in a V8

Hi guys, does anyone know if there is a raceway type place where I can go sideways in a V8 for an hour or two? Ideally I'd like it to cost under $400 and the car would have to be provided (Monaro, Falcon and Commodore preferred)

I dont know of any specifically...but there are a few 'experience' companies around that might have something. www.redballoondays.com.au is one...I think.

I would be interested in some car based entertainment to...heading to Melbourne in October for a break.

DECA in Shepparton. They do all kinds of driver training there - you can even play jacknifing truck if you do a course.

When I used to live in Oz, a few of the car clubs did events there, along with private group bookings - you will have to provide the said V8 (Avis/Budget Performance Vehicles?). I learnt do drive a car there when I was 14 or 15 - my school sent us there for a week.

Else possibily Anglesea, is (was?) owned by Linfox. A few friends had been there, though I never made it.
