Recommendations for getting from Perth to Melbourne/Sydney..

Without flying, want to take in as much as I can (I've done Melbourne and Sydney before) but mother hasn't so want to include a bit of both if possibly, thought about the train

put the car on a train and travel in comfort. It will take longer but I have heard it is well worthwhile. If you fancy a bit of a drive as well, the other option is to go Perth-Adelaide, unload the car from the train and drive the rest.
