Hi guys

Just posted this in NZ forum and thought i'd place it here as well, I'm looking at bringing my ute back to it's birth place to sell it and was wondering where the best place to sell it would be? do you have an equvilant to our www.autotrader.co.uk in Oz? or would I be better off trying NZ where it came from?

its a 1998 XH by the way, any ideas on value?

Thx in advance guys!

Hey mate, you might want to try here. The HSV site on the Forum or the UK Holden owners club. Remember not to put how much you want for it on here. Not allowed.
Good luck

Wouldn't a ute be worth more in the UK. Try checking the valus here www.redbook.com.au/

£ increase for being rare only counts when people know what it is, with it being the only XR6 Ute of that year in the country, it would be near on impossible to shift for no money at all, parts and service knowledge non existant, I was going to return it to your shores but the cost of TAX and shipping + my ticket and hotel etc would have meant I broke even, so px for a Ford lightning but still managed A$5000 which is about half its worth in Oz, oh well.... chuffed with its replacement tho

Nik sorry to hear that as now the monaro is for sale I thought enthusiasts would have recognised aussie cars. My brother-in-law here in Adelaide sold a few fords to the UK. Think they were V8 falcon and falcon ute from memory. $10K to ship plus taxes aint cheap!
