I don’t know if it’s still the case but I and many others used to save a fortune buying from Tire Rack in the US.
Depends if you can wait for the slow boat. There's nothing quite like Black Circles in Oz. Ozzy Tyres is the closest thing I can think of, but you still need to go to a fitter (they'll ship direct to a range of fitters).

I used to get tyres from the manufacturer's retail (Continental) and get my mechanic to fit them or get my mechanic to supply them.

I looked into Ozzy Tyres and Tire Rack recently for both the Golf and the 928. By the time I’ve added in delivery and fitting costs, there’s about two-fifths of seven-eights of chuff all in it. So, unless you can get some sort of trade price and have friendly mechanic, might be best to order through a decent local fitter and make friends.
I used Jax for the Golf, which was great initially, but not so good second time, and my local Bridgestone centre for the 928 and previously for the Mazda - excellent both times. Order tyres over the phone, confirming delivery date. Turn up when they open at 0800, be on my merry way at 0820 - job done. Also get follow up texts to come in for checks every 6 months if that appeals. Prices each time were about 5-10% more than the best I could do with arranging everything separately, but with a lot less phaffing.

Try tyresales.com.au or a link via the supercheapauto.com.au
The tyres are delivered to a 'partner' tyre fitting place near your and you just book when to get it fitted. The price included fitting and delivery. Just got some tyres from supercheap link when they had 20% off all tyres so it was a bargain.

Check out International Tyre Trader, they have an online shop and are located in Sydney. https://www.tyretrader.com.au/new_site.html
I needed a set of Khumo V70s for my 7 and found them on eBay, they have preferred fitters and delivery to them is far cheaper than "your guy"
In the first instance I ordered soft compound and didn't realise until they were delivered so I rang them arranged for a swap for mediums and from initial order to the correct tyres being delivered was around 48 hours so they were stock from their warehouse not ordered from OS.
235x45x13 are probably not a big selling tyre so I was very pleased to find the rubber was fresh which I confirmed before pulling the trigger, they were less than 3 months out of the mould.
They will continue to get my business while they are still around
