Anyone else tried and couldn't connect?

Combination of 3rd world Internet and the entire country trying to access the same website at the same time was never going to work.

How did they not see that clusterfk coming?

Hackers are being blamed ..... yeah right!

IBM pocket millions for setting up the system that, surprise, surprise doesn't work.

As I heard on the radio earlier, if people can't buy concert tickets online because systems crash, what hope have 5m+ people got for all getting to the same website at the same time?!

Apparently a Denial of Service attack from "overseas".

Although as a news article I read earlier pointed out the majority of households trying to access the site at the same time would look awfully like a DOS attack so the "overseas" comments are being questioned.

biggrin

Anyone in IT knew it was always gong to fail, the good news is you can now get a paper copy and may forget to fill in some questions. remember that only months ago it was changed to 4 years data retention, the identifier key' being held indefinitely. Oh anyome notice the government has just amended things to allow it to sell the data to private companies.
Since when has any public government body had any idea how to run IT security, Run by clowns for morons.
