Chaps.
Just wanted to pop my head in to say hello. Any of you hail from Adelaide?
Moved here in October, car has finally landed, and I'm just waiting for it to clear compliance. Are there are any fellow PHers from around Adelaide, or any regular meet ups / runs in the area? Just a shot in the dark!
Anyhoo, if you spot a grey B7 RS4, wave like a loon. I'll return the favour!

Hi Ben
Pretty quiet in Adelaide on the pistonheads front, especially in Adelaide. If you fancy a drive in the hills down south give me a shout. Otherwise enjoy Adelaide, people love to knock it but its a pretty good place to live

I happen to be a 'Hills person myself - great place to bring the little ones up, less the monotony of the grid down in the plains. Currently renting a place in Flagstaff Hill, but frequent Belair as the in-laws/babysitters live there. Long term plan is to move somewhere to Belair, hopefully.
I see an E46 in your picture - have you brought that over?

MHH that is an amazing selection of cars in your garage. I think I would of seen the Mclarens on adelaide car spotter's instagram page. How an earth do you keep your license? I live at the back of mclaren vale just off a very popular road for enthusiastic driving with a couple of great hairpins for enthusiastic driving. I will wave as you go past!

Hey, been in Adelaide since 2009. I have nothing exotic but always happy for a meet up/jaunt etc when the weather gets better.
No shame in not having anything 'exotic' (S2k looks a peach though - I've had a couple myself). Try slumming around in an '01 Astra for 6 months. Still, at least it gets me to and from work. Mind you, it's great for a little perspective. I can't believe the state of some of the heaps that are still on the road around Adelaide.I work a couple of streets away from Norwood, not really 'town' but yes, if you're at a loose end I'm sure we can organise something.
Hello mate
I'm in the southern suburbs of Adelaide. Moved here from Scotland 4 years ago next week. I brought an E46 M3 but sold it almost 2 years ago which left a massive hole! BUT............
My new Focus RS hits the dealer tomorrow and I'm keen to get out and meet some car enthusiasts again!
If anyone fancies a meet up then please shout.

Hey Chop.
Nice one. Wasn't reg S*** APA on the M3 was it? I see that one almost every day on the way to work in Norwood.
Glad you've filled the hole - I know how you feel, even if it was just 6 months without mine. They're literally drilling holes in it right now to fit those god-awful child restraints in the back of the car, so I should be back in my hands by early next week.
Sounds like we have a small group forming after all! I think a quick informal meet up at some point at Windy Point would be fitting - what say you all?

Happy to pull the cover off the Honda whenever, most of my winter weekends are free. PM me if anyone wants to exchange numbers and make it happen.ajg31 said:
As an ex Ford worker I have a soft spot for the brand. Initial thoughts? Be nice to have a nose round it sometime
Initial thought are that I love it. Colour is amazing and varies in different light. I'm running it in so can't comment on power but it certainly feels very sharp. Steering s very direct and brakes are very good with a great feel.Gassing Station | Australia | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
