I heard something about this a while ago, and I have seen a few posts on social media in recent weeks. It seems it opens next Sunday on the old Bunnings site in West Gosford on the Central Coast. The inventory is pretty bloody epic- Miura's, Gullwing, XJ220, F40/50, Pantera...! Serious metal in there- including some that cannot even be registered in this country. Must be at least $30-40mil of inventory. Have seen some social media posts of cars being sourced via Clayton Bespoke and Duttons. Seems to be a single private owner / investor building the collection. Looks well worth a visit.

I sold my car to the owner 6 months ago, amazing story, mine was the 44th Ferrari he'd bought and at the time he had a team of buyers out and about buying up his favourite classics - now has over 400!
Looking forward to seeing the whole collection at some point.

Interesting.

There was a black SLR at the MB Vic show last month. Owner said it was the only one in Aus. I wonder if it is the same car?

Wow - 44 Ferrari's is not bad going, but 400 cars - WOW!!! Did you meet the man himself or just a buyer on his behalf? Has he had the collection building for a while do you know, or is it a sudden cash injection?

I met with one of his buyers. He contacted me out of the blue and initially it felt like a "to good to be true scam" so I did some digging and found that the owner was an Aussie who had spent the last 25 years building a hugely successful car dealership business in Russia but with the Ukraine crisis in full swing he was being extorted by the Ukrainian mafia and hence decided to sell his business (for a reported $500m) and move his young family back to where he grew up -Gosford. Then he set about putting together his dream collection! I believe he has developed an App that scours the web marketplace for cars that stand out either for mileage, condition, price etc and his team of buyers use the results to target cars he wants in his collection - this may not be 100 correct though.
Either way, it's a truly incredible collection that I don't expect to see again and he's opened it all up to the public, amazing!
