Places to eat near perth

I'm currently on holiday in Australia and im after some local info on good places to eat, I'm staying near joondalup but it hasn't got to be on my doorstep. I'd especially like a good Thai or chinese.
Any help appreciated.

One of my favourite places to eat (its a small little family owned place). I go there way too often. (Get the creamy tarragon fish then chicken katsu)
