fk me!!

I thought Vic was bad, but today's drive from Brissy to the GC was a real eye opener.

110 limit - 4 lanes of traffic doing between 90 and 105. I swear I was the quickest driver on the road at 110, on the GPS wink

The fear of getting caught speeding has really got to them up here!

Yup, normal, and Im sure they were doing those speeds in all lanes even the outside one, with 7 feet between them.

Hell, you were lucky, that is a pretty good run.

I often do the Gold Coast to Beaudesert run, via Canungra. I usually spend half the distance stuck behind someone doing 80 to 85, in a 100 zone.

Most appear to be totally cowered, & don't want to go anywhere near the speed limit.

I have just driven Sydney to Byron Bay, I had my cruise control set at 105kph since speed changes from 110 to 100 very frequently so my thought was 105kph should be ok for both. There was a cop hiding and pointing his speed camera at me in a 100 zone and I was doing 105, hopefully that will not be a fine !

Brissy to GC- poor driving , tailgating, crazy roadworks, and then cops who will do you for 2-3km over the limit its disheartening and a waste. Cops just want promotion and wage increases and the easy way is more tickets. crazily bad driving here is ignored more than speed, going up the GC the fastest way is the 'slow' lane as its pretty well always clear and running at about 100/110 where as the inside lane is usually micras at 80.
