I'd be bang up for it, but my bro and a few mates have done the "ultra fast karts" thing at Barbagallo and apparently "ultra fast" is really stretching the friendship a bit. Might be more fun at Belmont, and more central and contributes seat time towards their racing league, if that's your thing.

Racing league? Easy to do and inexpensive?Could have a PH Perth team

I was up at Warrens on Sat.
the twin engined karts are faster than the other ones, but its not by a huge amount.
they are easier to drive I reckon, better to slide around the place and less likely to spin.
a lot less overtaking than the smaller ones though, mainly as its harder to get that little edge as everyone has the power out of the corner even if they are slow as s... through the corner (and hence its really annoying at times)
the ones in Belmont I havent been to in years, but you used to have to get your 'license' there stamped each time you went and work your way up to the quicker karts - it took ages if I recall. $$$

Warrens is starting up 200 lap enduro racing: http://www.ultrafastkarts.com.au/perth/endurance-r...
This would not be on Barbagallo. it is at the track next door: https://goo.gl/maps/sWiK3

Watch some of these to see the slowness: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=warren...
Superkarts are starting to take off in Perth again if you want properly fast karts. Somewhere around 80BHP and just short of slicks n wings lap times. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjwzigZzbnQ

I've often thought about buying a kart with a mate or 2, I used to belong to the Tiger club and iirc they had days when you just paid a fee to use the track. Much more fun than the slow rentals (but I'd still be up for that in the meantime)
It's pretty tightly controlled now Tim.My brother's inlaws have two 125cc Rotax sitting idle at the moment. We had planned to go for a spin but can't even get out on the circuit for a play without joining both the Tiger Kart club and the karting governing body in Australia, around 6-700 bucks, just to go for the odd squirt with mates.
