How do?
OK, so my apologies if this has been done before over here but I've just arrived and having searched through to the end of winter last year, I can't see any discussions on track days.
I know there are a lot more road races here than we are used to in the UK (as they are banned due to some archaic law) however, are there enough to keep people happy and well in their street legal high perfomance pride n joys?
I see the hillclimb at Noosa - a bit far for me as I'm in Vic. There must be more I'm sure! There are two trackdays on Phillip Island advertised which, for a Moto GP fan, are an absolute must for me but what else is out there?
I've read a bit about 'closed road section rallies' but are these something that you'd take your road-legal cars too? Hillclimbs are something that I've considered in the UK but are the playing field of old men - for the most part driving ex F1 cars from what I can tell so I've never been.
450 miles will land you in Nurburg so there was no issue for the adrenalin junkie in the UK. What about Aus?
Anything worth a look in an 'every day fast car'??
